Century plant (Agave americana) care tips & more about this plant
Care tips
- Position: Full sun. Sheltered.
- Water: Water sparingly during growing season. Do not overwater. Keep plant almost dry during winter.
- Hardiness: Frost hardy if kept almost dry. Protect from severe cold and rain.
- Pruning: No pruning required. Handle with care since it's leaves are spiny. We recommend clipping off the tips of the worst spikes at the end of each leaf with a pair of secateurs.

- Fertilisers: Feed regularly during growing season with fertiliser. There is no need for fertiliser during the winter period.
